JANUARY EDITORIAL 2019 | POLITICS FREE NEWS & INFORMATION FROM THE HEART OF MILL HILL

Editorial January 2019 | Politics Free Blog
We started publishing occasional editorials in September to update readers on who we are and what we publish

We are very proud that since starting this blog in 2010 we have never posted any political blogs.  What you read on here are news and information that we have gleaned from friends and organisations who feed it to us on a daily basis.    That is why we are the longest established news source devoted only to Mill Hill.

Therefore, if you come here to find out what we think about Brexit - or Rubbish collections or anything else which is a political argument we will have to disappoint you.   Needless to say our good friends at BARNET EYE run a commentary on all things political in the whole borough of Barnet  and they provide a great source of information about politics. There are links to the left to their site.  We also support their community awards and although this blog is not political, we do take an interest in all things Barnet that effect residents. Read some of the Barnet bloggers for a wide range of views, and we have linked to them since 2010.

If you have a story or some information about openings or closings - or community events etc,  please send it to the address above.  If you want to write a guest blog then you can - and guess what ?  if you want to write anon then you can.  We respect everyone's privacy and safety on the internet.  The same applies to Mill Hill Today as well and you can also send articles for that via the same email address.

The New Year on Broadway has started well with the fly tipping got rid of behind Lloyds and the cafes and shops are busier than this time last year.  New openings are in the offing for 2019 and we are looking forward to bigger and better festivals on the Broadway in 2019 culminating in the 100th Anniversary Event in 2020 which will close the road - we will bring you news of that as soon as we hear any.   Plus dont forget the MILL HILL MUSIC FESTIVAL is in June !  which is always a fantastic 10 days for all who love live performance across all genres in the area.

We love Mill Hill - We love The Broadway and we are thankful every day to live in such a great place.

Edited 21/1/19 : we removed two short paragraphs regarding general comments about Barnet Bloggers which were pointed out to us could have been attributed to linking to the second paragraph about the Barnet Eye blog - which we can state they were not linked in any way. In the interests of clarity it was easiest to remove the paragraphs to save any confusion.
