HSBC BANK MILL HILL BROADWAY | SITE WORK and Updates

Those of you visiting Broadway will have possibly noticed the HSBC has workmen removing the old air con and furniture over the last month and taking in new plasterboard etc.

This is a good sign that hopefully new tenants will be able to move in soon. We will let you know if we hear anything definite.

There has been a  license application for the premises on 7 February by Legal and General Estates which closed for comments on 5 March.  This is to be welcomed because it may provide the street with late night opening which has been missing since The Bell closed. We will bring more once we find out details.

UPDATE :  The site will be a restaurant and bar with late night opening at weekends.   The plasterboard has been going in - so the site is progressing well.  The name of this exciting new venture has not yet been revealed although we know the building is now owned by an Edgware based restaurant group which is excellent news.
