This is a new website which will feature several local businesses and host the iGUIDE for the area when it comes out in a few weeks time.
The Mill Hill Guide has been around since 2010 when it formed part of this site. However, in 2015/16 it morphed into its current larger state with print copies and full iGUIDE under the editorship of John Gillett who put in loads of time to make it the incredible resource it is today.
This year because of a new team - a new set of sponsorship deals the GUIDE is not reliant on advertising in the same way - it is now being part funded by large companies in order to help the smaller businesses who shouldered the whole cost of the recent guides. This means that the community get a bigger profile and the costs are kept down for those who wish to advertise.
The Guide is a non profit making group and the 2020 budget figures come out in April and it will be easy to see that the Guide is now over 75% supported by sponsorship rather than advertising. Of course the advertisers now get more bang for their bucks with the sold out advertising for their business giving them :
- A feature on the website page
- A paid for ad campaign on Facebook
- An advert at half the price of previous guides
- Full social media support via the Mill Hill Network of Non Political Sites
- A free advert every fifth year ( eg buy 4 adverts get one free )
We are very happy here at MillHillBroadway to back the Guide and all who work and create it. It is a fantastic thing and in 2021 and 2022 the Guide will get even bigger and better with the plans that are in place for it from the new team. Contact the Guide via their website or Facebook page in order to advertise in 2021 or volunteer to help out.
