Some of you may remember that a menorah was driven around the area about 15 years ago to celebrate.
However, Mill Hill has never had a menorah placed in its Town centre. This year the synagogue and Mill Hill Neighbourhood Forum have placed one in the new town square.
On Monday a huge crowd estimated at 300+ by Inside Mill Hill Facebook, gathered to light the menorah. A fabulous time was had by all.
We agree with comments that the lighting has really brought the community together. We also look forward to this becoming an annual local celebration of chanukah.
