OVER 30 SUPPORT PLANNING APPLICATION FOR NEW HSBC SITE RESTAURANT | Link Here

Already 30+ have expressed support on the Barnet Planning Site for the brilliant plan to turn the HSBC site into a quality DirtyBurger/Chicken Shop restaurant and bar complex.  We urge everyone who reads this and wants to see this fantastic property brought back to life for the community in this way to get over to the planning site and support the application.

Although it is not a licensing application it would be fantastic for Broadway if the licence could be until Midnight at least - and maybe later at weekends to try and breathe some life into the Broadway post 9p.m economy which has been very dead for the last 3 or 4 years.  It would benefit the whole street.

We hope this will see other chains as we have campaigned.  Several hundred viewed our proposals for the Broadway earlier this year and we had many positive emails about our ideas.   This is the first step in the process of making the Broadway more friendly for all ages and providing quality offerings at reasonable prices.

There are suggestions for a NANDOS FAMILY RESTAURANT and LEON HEALTH FOOD CAFE that people have suggested.  I do hope these can both come as well.  The road will then attract more independent traders as well.

Finally dont forget the ITALIAN MARKET this weekend. Bring friends and family and make sure to plan a visit to BLUEBELLES or HALF FULL or FRATELLIS or YUMMIES  into your plans for the day.  Our local restaurants want to see you calling in for coffee or lunch or afternoon snacks as you enjoy and shop at the market.   This is the last market of the summer.  Make the most of it and more will follow in the Autumn and Winter we hope.
