98% of all the comments on the Barnet Council Planning Site are backing the plan to turn HSBC into a superb new Soho House restaurant complex including Dirty Burger - Chicken Shop - Bar etc. on the Broadway.

In fact some residents are so excited they are encouraging Barnet Council to get a move on and grant early planning permission in order to pep up the street.

It is noticable that there are currently more vacant units on the street than at any time in its history and that includes 2008 and the crash.

At present these are units which are vacant :

Day of the Raj
Phone Shop

This includes 3 restaurant sites that are vacant but which may fill if they see Soho House arrive on the street. Business is brisk on the Broadway for the remaining restaurants and we encourage you to come down this week and have a meal or lunch.

Half Full has opened up - and all the Al Fresco Street seating outside all the cafes is busy from early morning.  The Hanging Basket flowers provided by the NEIGHBOURHOOD FORUM mean that having an on street meal or coffee is now pleasantly fragranced and bookended with lovely displays of flowers.

Today (Sunday) The Adam and Eve is holding a BAR B Q all day if you would like to spend the afternoon or evening al fresco eating in a garden setting.

Yesterday's SUMMER GATHERING was a great success for Saracens and you can see the launch of their kit video from the day on their website (see list on right for link).

Dirty Burger Meal coming soon to Broadway !
