TODAY IS DRY | Come down to Broadway Market Open 10 - 6

After yesterday's sunny day today is cloudy but will be dry and warm.  Ideal for looking around the market stalls and also visiting the shops on Broadway.

The music stage area next to Boots will be open and the music starts at 11.30a.m and continues throughout the day.  Ideal for a beer and curry or paella or hot dog.  You might want to get some cupcakes as well from the cake stall !

There is a Wine Stall - Sociable Wines which has some exclusive wines - and dont forget craft beer which is also being sold by Mill Hill Wines which will be open for all of you wanting something good to watch the football with at home this evening.

The success yesterday of the Pocket Park area has excited many local people who can now see what a fantastic space this will be when it is given over to the community in the near future.  We will bring you dates and plans as soon as we can find out.

The NEIGHBOURHOOD FORUM stall will again be outside ICELAND for you to discuss local concerns and plans for the area.   They are OUR voice with the Council and planning authorities.  If we all stand together then we can make our area the best it can be.  The markets are the first step.   There will be a further public meeting in September which we think is around 21 September. Again we will bring you times and place as soon as we hear them.

The market is also OPEN SUNDAY from 10 - 5.  So that is another day on which you can come down and sample the food and atmosphere of the mini Festival Event.  It was fantastic to see so many people yesterday attending.

Crowds at the Music Stage in Pocket Park Area on Friday about 6p.m
