In case you have not been to the Broadway this week - Domenico the new Italian restaurant has closed.  These are very difficult times for all businesses in not only our area but across London.  We are certainly in a new recession in terms of low and medium end spending.  High Streets and entertainment venues seem to be bearing the brunt of this at present.

We do ask that everyone comes down to your local shopping and eating centre this weekend for a shop and a meal. If everyone in the area did this once a month at least then we would not see more closures.

The new market initiative and other plans by our FRIDAY FEATURE organisation are going to try and help the street to get through this tough trading time.

Farewell Domenico.
The site has seen a Kebab restauirant and the short lived Olives. This used to be the famous Carpa D/Ora Fish and Chip restaurant which was packed for many years and had qs onto the street on Fridays. Much missed and much loved.
