May marks when we started the Broadway Blog in response to the poor news coverage for the area of Mill Hill.   The local press rarely covers any news in Mill Hill concentrating on Court Reports from Edgeware and Hendon and lost pets and children.

We decided that having seen the success of the Political and Music blog "The Barnet Eye" we would provide an information service to compliment Roger's excellent blog and not compete with it.  In addition we would support all Barnet bloggers on our front page to help build not only a community locally but an on-line community.

After 7 years it is true to say I believe we have succeeded in doing this.  The Barnet Eye goes from strength to strength with millions of views of its articles.  We have increased our readership year on year since 2010 and we are now confident that we are viewed nearly 50,000 times a year.

Our most popular articles have been our Christmas events guides and our restaurant articles.  Our busiest month each year has been as follows :

2010   December
2011   June
2012  April
2013 November
2014 November
2015 Decenber
2016  March

We will be updating our Shopping and Parking guides this summer.  We will also be having a special SARACENS GUIDE for next season.

In addition we will continue to bring you THE FRIDAY FEATURE which started this year and is already proving very popular.

We have had some great suggestions from other Barnet Bloggers for things we can do in the coming months and if time allows we will have more exciting features based on Mill Hill for you as we see our views continue to rise year on year.

If you live in Mill Hill and you find this site - make sure you TWEET or FB or PIN it for all your friends to see and visit.

Thank you again for all your support and e-mails and kind words.  This blog is for everyone and we welcome all news and contributions.  Keep us up to date with your events and activities and spread the word.  This is a FREE resource and is not part of some national advertising on line press or company resource.  It is FOR local people by local people.
