Today there has been stunning news announced by the MILL HILL NEIGHBOURHOOD FORUM. Mill Hill is one of the few "Town Centres" in London that does not have a public space. A report identified the area next to Boots on the Broadway as a suitable spot. This will be brilliant if it comes to fruition.
Tesco has teamed up with Groundwork to launch its Bags of Help initiative across England and Wales. The scheme gives grants each year of between 8 - 12 Thousand pounds. The great news is that MILL HILL has one of these grants. However, a public vote will take place in TESCO EXPRESS between 27 FEBRUARY and 6 MARCH - and if there are enough votes for MILL HILL then we could win the 12 thousand pounds rather than the 8,000.

Please share the news and spread the news locally. From February 27th 2016 for one week we need all 27,000 residents of Mill Hill to pull together and vote in the new TESCO EXPRESS ! This is an historic moment for the area and would help achieve the dream of many Mill Hill residents of a proper space at the heart of our area. This space can be used for instance for the Mill Hill Music Festival - it could have a stage for Carols for Christmas Shopping - it could have information stalls at weekends for local organisations and some wonderful seating for the summer sunshine. The ideas are endless. It is up to us to get out and vote ! Perhaps we can get the SARACENS RUGBY CLUB to ask their fans to attend the store and vote as well because it will be a great asset for fans on the way to matches to have somewhere to sit when the weather is good ?
