REVIEW : ELF at Dominion Theatre

For a limited time only the West End has a huge traditional Christmas show.  The ticket prices are expensive though even the cheapest seats give great views in this refurbished Art Deco gem of a theatre.

The show features beautiful sets which are covered in Christmnas lights and have the feel good factor that you need with the Christmas show.  The story is fairly light and the book has been written by the writers of Annie - which gives you some idea of the style of musical.

The orchestra is large and one of the stars of the evening is the choreography.  Large Broadway style dance routines in ravishing costumes.

The story is based closely on the film and the cast's main characters are all very well known from their TV work and so it is a full of great acting and singing.

There are several suprises in the way the show is staged - needless to say if you get an expensive seat in the stalls then you could be experiencing a White Christmas sooner than you think ! and beware of low flying sleighs !!!

This show is certainly one of the best Christmas shows to arrive in the West End for decades and tickets are already nearly sold out for the remaining performances.  So if you enjoy Christmas and want to get in the mood for a sparkly Christmas then this is the show for you.  Despite the ticket prices and it has to be the hottest ticket in town this Christmas.   So we suggest that if you have not yet booked a big night out then get a ticket for this show - you will not be disappointed and everyone came out smiling and clutching their £10 ( See photo ) glossy brochures full of Christmas joy,

BEN FORSTER as ELF ( Winner of the ITV Search for Jesus Christ Superstar )  brilliant and amazing voice.
KIMBERLEY WALSH ( From Girls Aloud )  Great voice and shame only gets one big song.
JOE McGANN ( From The Upper Hand)  Famous TV actor with very good voice and superb acting
JESSICA MARTIN (From loads of TV shows) Excellent actress and some great songs with the youngest member of the cast,
