New Play Area opens on Bank Holiday in Mill Hill Park

The sun was shining and Mill Hill Park was the obvious destination after Bank Holiday Sunday lunch. So with our visiting nieces age between 7 and 10 years old we decided that they could give their seal of approval to the new park equipment. A large crowd of families were there having a very good time. It is good to see money being spent on things for the children of the area, and they appreciated the new rides especially the "swingy" thing which seemed to have their attention for over an hour as well as the rope bridges and tunnel and large slide apparatus. After coffees and ice lollies at the park cafe we returned back to the Broadway at nearly 6p.m - and the Play Area was still very busy ! The kids are keen to return which is the verdict I am sure those who designed the new area would want to hear.

Another great improvement for the Mill Hill Broadway area.

Mill HIll Broadway

The restaurant capital of North London and hub of the stunning Mill Hill area. I am lucky enough to have lived and worked in the area since 1986 and this blog will give a flavour of life on the Broadway which is a friendly and vibrant place just minutes away from green spaces of Mill Hill Park and Arrandene as well as the historic centre of Mill Hill and the site of the former London ( Hendon ) Aerodrome.
