On the Broadway we have some of the best independent shops in London with quality butchers - clothes - accessories - olde sweets - as well as some of the best value and most exciting eating experiences in cafes and restaurants. Add M&S - WH Smith and Iceland and you have a complete shopping experience to suit all budgets.
If you go to Mill Hill East there are also several other independent shops and a Waitrose Supermarket. There is also the London Gateway shopping centre with Argos and Comet etc. on the A1/A41.
There are many businesses in Mill Hill deserving of your support - whether it is the Music Studios or Dave Morgan Blinds or our local mechanics.
In 2011 these businesses will struggle unless the local population makes use of them. So if we want to maintain a thriving community with all services on hand then we need to support local shops and businesses in 2011 like never before.
Get to know your shopkeepers and service providers. That is a way to build lasting help and advice - and by doing so you get a better service than shopping in the Hypermarkets which are destroying so much of local community in the UK. We also have on our doorstep two excellent shopping centres at Brent Cross and the Boardwalk in Edgware - so there is very little need to travel.
