Rail Services From Broadway Still Disrupted by Snow

Last nights snowfall which started at around 9p.m and lasted until around 4a.m has created more problems for First Capital Direct.

This is their advice for travellers today. The area looks wonderful with the new "coating" of snow. The roads are all flowing well though there seems to be less traffic and fewer buses than usual.

Due to the current poor weather conditions, First Capital Connect services are being severely disrupted.

The following alterations to trains will apply until further notice today, Thursday 2 December:

  • There are no cross-London 'Thameslink' services.
  • Trains to the north of London (for Luton and Bedford) will start from and terminate at London St Pancras International.
  • Trains to the south of London (for Sutton, Wimbledon, Gatwick Airport and Brighton) are currently suspended.

Ticket Acceptance

Passengers may use:

  • London Underground services on all reasonable routes
  • South West Trains between London Waterloo and Wimbledon

To find out whether this will impact your journey and to get alternative options planned for you, please use the National Rail Enquiries real time Journey Planner, or call TrainTracker on 0871 200 49 50.
